Sharing a part of us with the
communities around us!
The People Possible Foundation has initiated various schemes and programmes for benefitting society at large.
Here are some of our recent initiatives.
Make this Diwali sweeter from your heart through our hands!
Continuing our last year’s initiative, People Possible Foundation celebrated Diwali with the social media drive ‘Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye’. We invited our followers to join us in spreading the magic of giving. We donated an equal number of boxes for every like and share received on the invite post. In total, 5,091 packets of happiness were distributed to the less privileged families as we tried to make Diwali sweeter for each one of them.
Spreading warmth in winter
The warmth of humanity can indeed beat the chill of wintry nights. People Possible Foundation organised an activity to distribute warm clothes to needy people in Jaipur and Ahmedabad during the winter. We distributed more than 2,500 jackets to the needy.
Supporting Vishwaraj Jadeja, India’s ace ice skater
A popular name in the ice skating arena, Vishwaraj Jadeja is India’s leading long-track ice speed skater. Encouraging him in his endeavours on ice is People Possible Foundation, supporting him in ice skating training. Cheering for Vishwaraj and his dream to be the first Indian ice skater to win a medal for India at Olympics!
Garbage to growth
Our leaders Amit Somaiya (CEO and Co-Founder), Ashok Vithlani (Co-Founder), Prashant Parikh (Commercial Director), Ketan Shah (CFO), and Nupur Gupta (Company Secretary) visited the cantonment board, and were moved not only by the welcoming environment, but also by the stories shared by the women ragpickers. These women now make re-cycled products, such as bags, bottles, garlands, etc., and are full-time employees who provide for their families, earning their family’s and community’s respect. We are grateful to them for cleansing the city, and send our best wishes to these unsung heroes.
Check-ups to keep up with health better
People Possible Foundation continues to make a difference in people’s lives. Under our new initiative, संकल्प (Oath) – हमारा लक्ष्य: आपका स्वास्थ्य (Our goal: Your health), we organised health check-up camps in various villages. We kick-started this project with Gujarat’s Kolar and Motipura villages. So far, we have adopted 10 villages, and have impacted more than 3,000 lives.
